  1. Apologies folks, the sound today is a little jacked up. For some reason my laptop recorded off of my webcam rather than my mic

  2. If you're thinking $8 for a Nelson, go $9.5 for a Tage Thompson or Sam Bennet and just get the thing done! Get some of our talent in the game. We have Ohgren, Yurov and both are Iikely add to scoring. So we need really 1 and a workhorse with skill to replace Ghost and Carcus…

  3. Yurov is our second line center, can’t pay fourth liner the money Rossi wants, although he’s worth it somewhere else.

  4. Would Buffalo trade Peterka for Rossi straight up? Then try get Bennett or Zacha. Another guy that would be a great fit for the Wild would be Mangiopane

  5. Addison out the league, kakohen back up and traded 3 times.
Fiala became a complete 200 ft player and a sniper n peiced himself out if minney rraded for faber. Guerin did good on all 3. Rossi 7×7 isnt terrible but 1st ir forester seems insanely low. See what ither deals come. Boldy > rossi .

  6. I wouldn't be worried about, what Philly says or offers for Rossi, remember philly passed on zeev buimun, because they already those type of defenseman

  7. Im totally out on nelson, free agent market id like ehlers n bennett but bennett i doubt leaves florida that locker room is differnt and seems to be going on a 5yr run. Ehlers somebody will over pay an absurd amount. I think the trade market is gonna be wildly insane this yr as u mentioned with buffalo i doubt thats the only team with that kind of stuff going on. Plus teams that need $ just to reach the floor this yr. I like rossi as a middle 6 id like to see him on the wing personally but 7×7 when theres boldy 7×7, tage thompson as u mentioned 7.1 both imo better than rossi now and i dont believe he will ever be the players those 2 are or will become. Hopefully billy can pull another trade off like hes done with middleton faber fiala going. Could be quite the waiting game but if rossi would do 3x7aav id do that but 7×7 i dont like the yrs

  8. Bill Guerin lacks people skills. He would rather move a player that doesn't respond to his style rather than learn how to sell/motivate/influence the player.

In other words, a terrible boss that has some control over where you work.

  9. The cynical side of me thinks BG is just fishing. There is a madness epidemic about to descend on NHL GMs . Remember, the cap went up and teams have $$$. Toronto has 25 million for crying out loud. I wouldn’t be surprised if a team makes an offer for Rossi that can’t be passed up. If not, keep him and enjoy the madness for free agency.

  10. Thompson & Tuch for Rossi & Chisholm & Pick/Prospect (or both). I would overpay slightly for this trade. I'd also be shopping Spurgeon to any team not on his list of 10, purely for cap space, (Spurgeon's $ pays for Thompson, still leaving enough to sign a major FA).

  11. 7×7 is very reasonable. He basically matched Boldy as a 2nd year player and Boldy's deal was 15m dollars in cap and 2 years ago. He is very worth it, still leaves our feckless GM almost 10m to add to the Top 6 (or 2 more middle/bottom six old guys like he likes). PS – love your friends take and how foolish the Wild are handling this. Billy LUCKED into Faber, because he publicly said stupid stuff about Fiala which lowered his value as well. Keep in mind, Faber is a stud but was LA's FOURTH best defenseman and 7th best prospect at the time.

  12. I would trade for a player and try to get a first round pick (top 20). Would you trade Rossi to Pittsburgh for Rakell (32 years old) and their pick at 11? I would love to get Tuch back here, maybe swinging a few players each way. We have assets, Lambos, as an example who is NHL ready or extremely close. Guerin needs to milk the market, someone will probably overpay if the Wild feel they absolutely need to move Rossi. I still wish they would keep him, he’s a C2 or C3 for the next 5-7 years, probably a 50-60 point guy per season. That’s tough to bail on. Last comment, there will be no trades within the division – Chicago…

  13. Given the cap is going up, give him 7×7 and it will look like a steal in a few years. Pay the man what he's worth, because he produced in the regular season and in the postseason with limited time. He can't do what Boldy can do because he is a smaller player, but he plays to his strengths and is very effective at doing that.

  14. Someone will definitely over pay for Rossi thinking his ceiling is higher than it is. I’d take advantage of that.

  15. Rossi hasn't shown he's 7mil + yet. He had a tremendous year last year and was a .75 PPG player, but even with the cap rising the way it's expected to in the next few years, 7 mil is a bit much. 5.5 mil AAV I could see.

  16. It is easy to see what he is doing. If Rossi gets 7×7 on an offer sheet that is a 1rst and a 3rd draft pick. I think that is the floor that Billy is looking at. If it is a lot less than we will probably match it.

  17. The Wild are on the smaller side of teams and I think Rossi would do better on a bigger team and the Wild would do better with a bigger center. Rossi doesn’t drive the play like I would like to see in a top 6 C. He’s a great story and really good player, I just think the Wild need to be bigger with talent in the top 6 to be contenders. They will only be able to do so in the trade market with Rossi being in the mix imo

  18. I’m just going to point out that people who look at numbers and think Rossi is anywhere near Boldy in terms of value are crazy. Rossi is good and a good story but he’s very replaceable. Boldy is far more elite.

  19. I cant Billy is going to destroy this team Johanson needs to go again us fans said no billy goes come on back in dont retire come back for cheap ya thats gonna get us a cup gtfoh so done how about trade Karill for a 7th billy and get Zack Parise back oh and sutter that night win a cup right 👍 dumbass sending our youthful player's for retiree's
