    Kelly is right. Bennett is a kind of player to put you over the top. He is not the type of player who, on his own, gets you to the playoffs.

    I know they spent an hour saying they don’t want Brady at 6 but they somehow convinced me that I want Brady Martin at 6

    I think Kelly is missing the point. Some players are glue guys where the value may not come with points. Its ok to have 2 or 3 great players and a high end glue guy which is what Bennett is

    Any one who says “drafting Martin at 6 is a fireable offence” are the same people horned up about Buium who looked brutal in the 4 games with the wild this year.

    Smarts and anticipation are what allowed Richards to become a guy who had two point-per-game seasons despite not having an elite physical toolkit. If Martin doesn't have high-end hockey IQ, the Richards comparison isn't a good one and he's probably more of a guy who will maybe give you 20-25 goals while playing as a 3C or as a complementary winger playing alongside high-end skill players.

    There is a way to get back up into the 10-12 range. You package up some of those second round picks you've stockpiled along with pick #22. There's no way Brady Martin should be the guy you do that for, though. You draft a first line centre prospect at #6 and you draft the best prospect available on the blueline at #10-12. You take Jackson Smith or Mrtka in the 10-12 range if either of them is on the board. The Flyers are thin on talent, everywhere. This is the draft you try your best to get two top 10 picks.

    Ok Brady Martin , was ranked between 15 and 20 beginning of the year depending on the Mock, but that hitting, is part of his DNA. to me his between 10 and 15, i take Martin over Richards any time a day. OMG , tji iginla comparison is on point. but Tij is like is DAD. skills and he can drop'em if needs be. Frondell – Desnoyers – or Hagans at 6. then DB needs to do what ever to get Martin, or get KASHAWN AITCHESON why nobody talking about him, there goes an other beast…….@Charlie THE Panthers ARE the bullies of this ERA. @Kelly the league deciding to NOT call penalty's in playoff is not from this years , BEEN LIKE THAT since i was 9 and im 60……oh yeah i luv u guys…………oh yeah the age thing mean your growth run away is bigger or shorter. difference between Quitter and Martin is cat vs dawg🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Florida is a great team and very well coached. Suggesting that their success is due to the league allowing them to get away with things other teams can't is short-sighted and ignorant. They forecheck aggressively, control the neutral zone effectively, and play strong, disciplined defense. And, of course, they have BOB.
    Why did we trade him, again?

    Taking Brady Martin at 6th should result in Danny and Jones getting ousted. If they trade up and take him at 10, sure.
