i would be more critical he did not sit out a year and just went and took the Pittsburgh job. easily could have a year to sit and reflect and take a chance at it with someone else when the time came.

For years, ive wondered how he has a job as GM in pro hockey, let alone as president of hockey operations. Does he look like what people think a good GM looks like? All of his moves have either not moved the needle at all or have been horrible and hurt the team. Hes the worst at contract negotiations in the leauge and he lets many of the best players go. Nothing against him, but holy cow what are we doing here. Its been years of mistake after mistake and god, how is he still a GM
He is just another example of social justice policy and philosophy failing.

As a Leafs fan, I can tell you this guy couldn't build a roster to save his life. Same result every single year. All while spending a fortune of futures every trade deadline. Never resolved the goaltending, never resolved the defense. Changed his philosophy a solid 3 times before he was fired. Hope he doesn't do the same with your team, Pens fans.
How did Dubas get a second job? It's Shapiro for the Blue Jay's. You get rewarding for being terrible.

I'm not a fan of K Dubas as an NHL General Manager. It is a mystery to me why KD was hired in Pitt.

Dubas = Fugazi. Only dummies believe his snake oil salesmanship. He ruined Toronto's best drafted talent.
Dubas is wasting Sidney Crosby's final years, it is a bummer.
He's had his balls gargled by the limp-wristed non-binary folx that compose the hockey analytics community who know a lot less than they think they do about the sport. They have to make their hockey worldview work so they can't be critical of people like Dubas
Doufous is the worst GM in league and is a little beta male .
I can only fault Dubas so much. Hextall left a giant mess. Where the Penguins screwed up was when they decided to keep the band together instead of doing any kind of rebuild.
And this guy is somehow involved with team Canada, Sweeney, and Armstrong too, all their teams are terrible and Kevin Cheveldayoff prob wasn’t even considered
