Knob has no concept of creating an organic team hierarchy or ladder structure that is based on earning your specific spot in the lineup (in turn, the foundation for chemistry for take form). This was not the time for an experiment, but here we are.

Kings PP is better and they don't go into their 1-3-1 shell all game like past years. They even used to stay in the 1-3-1 when they were down multiple goals 😆 much more aggressive and skilled. Byfield making strides.

These lineups are not ideal at all. And seriously Knoblauch, whats the matter with the hate on Jeff Skinner? Literally 0 reasons to be playing an injured guy (Freddy) over an elite goal scorer which the team needs. If the Oilers lose this series, Knoblauch (and most of the management for that matter) should be immediately fired. Players can be dealt with afterwards. Anyways the only thing thats stopping me from an Oilers loss today is the fact that the Kings are pretty terrible on the road, maybe it translate into this game. No players to watch today, just play as a team AND HELP YOUR GOALIE ON DEFENSE!! Whatever the score, just get the win.

As a Kings Season Ticket Holder, IMHO, your team is more injured than is being let on. Asking Kane to fire on all cylinders is a tough ask. Drai and McDonut (yeah, that's his nickname down here) on the same line makes no sense to me. I harken back to last summer and did not like the loss of Ceci and Broberg…This Kings team has a big chip on their shoulders as NO ONE is thinking they can pull off this series… And that is why we play the games. The problem with expecting Oilers to pull a Blues style blowout is that the first two games in Blues Jets series were very close, in fact, Blues were leading in various points of that game. Jets were a bit better towards the end, that's it. Oilers aren't playing half as good.

I’m not gonna watch tonight as much as I want to. I feel like I’m a curse to this team everytime I watch them in playoffs they lose. They won’t score all night but as soon as I go outside for a smoke they score or everytime I look away for a minute. If they win thank me later for missing this one

Absolutely need a win tonight, and I'm keeping the faith!! I'll predict a nice 5-0 win that the Oilers will completely dominate for 60 minutes!! But yes, some players on this team absolutely need to get going, and I don't agree with Skinner being sat again either. Really hope that Frederic is able to get in Kuemper's face and cause his usual chaos, and hope most of all that Pickard will be a brick wall in that net and inspire confidence in the team in front of him. LET'S GO OILERS!!!! Time to get back in this series!!

Based on the lines, this game and this series are both OVER.
Knob isn't a smart coach from what I've seen all season, and he's no better in the playoffs. However, these guys have been here, maybe too long, so you can't blame everything on the coach. How many coaches have to come and go before they realize the players are a big part of the problem. In this McDavid era there's been defensive problems all along, he's the leader and needs to start leading. He needs to make this team HIS, and show some emotion during the game, not after it's all said and done. Hopefully they can win tonight but I've stopped holding my breath, and I'll be watching.
Whatever it takes including cheating with a no call from Toronto or in Edmonton on a goalie interference.
