Oilers had a terrible game against the Kings. Came out the next game, totally focused. Changing that series. BUT Panthers are deeper and have closed out a cup. Before

Agreed! However, to win a Stanley Cup in the Betman era you will need a goon squad. That's the only reasonable chance to do it. High end skill and/or small players will not work. This has been shown for decades with the only possible exception being the Pittsburgh Penguins. You'll have good regular season success with this team but you won't make it past the first round of the playoffs. Being good in the regular season verses being good playoffs are night and day. This is because the league stops calling penalties in the playoffs and encourages holding, interference, slashing, cross checking, goalie interference and intent to injure etc. It's just a different game. I'm not saying its right or wrong but you WILL need a bunch of goons if you want to win a Stanley Cup.
