Give Kempe the C.
Kempe is in his prime now and just knows how to play all phases of offense reliably. He has consistency, great mobility, speed, and high end shot accuracy. He is worth the money, but his new contract should be 4-5 years. Long term deals hasn’t been great for the Kings most of the time.
He’ll probably be your next captain. His floor is 8M/yr. Any where between 8-9M is a fair deal. 10M might be too much.
Kempe is better than PLD. So price will be hefty.

coming from the other side of the 4 oilers vs la series…guys an absolute weapon. a noticeable threat that has about 50 different ways to score, and he plays a responsible game as well. always a problem for the opponent when he’s on the ice. give him some bills, or someone else will!
