Anaheim is 1 of 6 t3ams that needs to take on substantial $ just to hit the floor. They took on trouba and now kreider thats 14.5mill and they still have to take on an additional 8.3mill or so just for the cap floor. Trades are gonna be very interesting just for the cap floor reason but some teams need cap room. Patience is a virtue
Something i havnt mentioned b4. The wild as a franchise idr a time where they abused a goalie where a si gle goalie had 65 or more starts. N weve had some pretty dang good goal tending for the most part over the yrs
The Wild are paid to win nothing! Iowa develops "Tournament Ready" players, just under complete NHL Competency. It's so they can "Complete Their Competency" where they eventually get traded to. Billy never brings up tbe best to play or it would expose the shell game called "Development" The 4th line is constructed to rest 3 players that score 80-90% of the points. They "Dump & Retreat" and if they happen to dare be effective and score a goal…back to Iowa they go! Eventually the "Tournament Ready" guys go to their ultimate destination. Sammy Walker, Adam Beckman, Victor Rask/Nino story, etc.- Like a revolving door!
The Wild never seem to quite get it right enough to win! Is it the "Small Market"? Is it payola to not win? It becomes increasingly harder year after year seeing the same squandering. Even when the plausibility of the Fiala debacle is taken into consideration, on top of the endless Sr. Citizen players that cycle into Minny for very friendly retirement ready player contracts continue!
