I'm from Montreal and I've hated this guy since the start but I'm cheering for Florida, (lived ther for 6 years) I am just in shock, watching this guy, this team.

The TNT commentator pointed out a Pickard save on Marchand early in the 1st where he slid to move into position to catch it with his chest, saying he'd go to school on that. Whaddaya know, Marchand gets another breakaway just minutes later and pots it high glove past a sliding Pickard.

One year it was about Tkatchuk but now Florida is wide and deep and gritty and high speed passes stick like never before. This team is the best I've ever seen and I'm lucky to live to see it. It has the best structure and executes play book at highest level and has best preparation system. But if teams are equal puck luck enter in to equation. If Oilers can properly prepare themselves to get to equal level it is just about luck.

People love to hate on players like Marchand, Bennett and tkachuk. I love that style. It’s on the edge but it’s all to win. Being called a rat is badge of honour in my opinion, a worm on the other hand…
If you told me seven years ago that I'd be here watching Marchand's highlights in awe with nothing but utmost respect, I'd have told you that's the most delusional take I've ever heard, yet here we are. Absolutely stellar stuff!
