Oilers hatten auch Pech mit den vielen Verletzungen, Kane, Brown, Ekholm, Hyman !!! Auch Nuge hat verletzt gespielt, denke gegen Vegas und Dallas haben die Oilers wirklich gut gespielt. Florida hat die Oilers physisch kaputt gemacht, deren Härte waren sie nicht gewachsen. Detroit hat 1995 die gleiche Erfahrung mit New Jersey machen müssen, aber sie haben daraus gelernt. Steve Yzerman musste lange warten und dann holte er drei Titel.

i’ll be the first to admit i was wrong. i never thought i would be happy for Marchand after his antics throughout the years but it brought an honest smile to my face seeing him hoist the cup this year. i guess some people really do mature a little later than others 🤣 but hey better 37 than never right?
