  1. Keep Jones, problem is you can't keeping breaking him down, guaranteed if he goes elsewhere he'll be a top defenseman. He can score, skate, not afraid to grind…come on

  2. I saw all 3 today..Jones can actually move the puck! Plus he has an offensive side…With Fox and Jones staying if that how it works out they'd need the other 4 guys to have size, bite and shut down capabilities so you know, but I will say though obviously he can't grind it out net front with bigger stronger players his D has taken strides from what I see and in the right situation, the right RHD it can fit, and if he can continue to progress he could be a 2nd pairing…Thanks Darius

  3. Huge Jones supporter, he has value & upside. I'm sick of hearing about his size & D-ability. Fox Stinks defensively but his offensive is good so no one cares. and there are so many 5'11, 6' smaller skilled Off. D in the league (Q.Huges, Makar, L.Hutson, E.Karlsson, N.Lundqvist, N.Pionk etc)

  4. Still dont like the idea of moving off Miller! he has all the tools you want in a D man, skating, reach, puck moving ability… needs some work in the hitting department… kid just needs help building a new tool box.

  5. More than his skills, I love Zac’s attitude. So I hope the Rangers don’t jerk him around. Give him a legit shot to stick with the team or just let him have an opportunity somewhere else.

  6. Zac is a winner plain and simple and he’s got the right attitude and work ethic. Kid wants to play hockey let him play hockey.

  7. Jones has ONLY offensive upsides. Defensively lacking IMO, and he's tremendously out-sized and out-worked against the grindier teams (ehem, Florida). You're not making a long Cup run against physical teams with him in the lineup, sorry. Sure, he doesn't play against other teams' top players, but other teams have big, physical guys in lines 3 and 4 and, well, he can't handle that smoke. Move him.

  8. I wanted to trade Jones earlier in the season because nothing else was changing AND I though his size might be an issue BUT…he played well, he has talent. I would keep him if we can get a couple other better guys on the roster. Trade Miller and Soucy and get guys with speed, strength and size.
Jones at least showed some emotion and spoke out. The guy wants to play, let him show how hard he'll work for a better contract.

  9. Jones is too small to pair with Fox. That’s the bigger question especially if KM leaves. Jones on the second pair with Borgen? Schneider moving to LD and pair with Fox? Far more questions than answers. Lindgren & Trouba gone – where is the physicality on the Blueline!?

  10. The Rangers that went to two Conference finals and won a Presidents Trophy was accomplished with a core that Drury inherited. He’s repeatedly failed with trade deadline acquisitions and likewise failed with off-season moves. Drury has a penchant for handing out expensive long term contracts prematurely. If you want to fix the Rangers show Drury the door and bring in a GM who knows what he’s doing. Plus, bring in Mark Messier to work with the scouting and particularly player development staff.

  11. I’d rather have jones plus miller at less than what fox makes and trade fox. Fox isn’t suited to playoff hockey compared to what he brings at his cap number. His return would net a great prospect and free up cash for a two way player like Bennett.
