As a Sharks fan, this one hurts. They could’ve had Brian Marchments kid, but he blew it.
Toronto could have used this guy for sure, net front presence and some intestinal fortitude would have made the Leafs better….👍🏻

The only reason I can think of why the Leafs didn’t match or beat this offer is that they are hoping to resign Marner and Tavares.
I hate the cap. Its really taken the joy out of even talking about hockey, being excited about a roster, having to watch teams shed good players and become medoicre so that a tival bad team can inch toward mediocre. Its not even like theres a lot of good analysis of ROI, just a tedious wall of discussing how the cap strangles everything that used to be exciting.
