What would your opinion on Dobson for the 2nd overall pick be? Yes, SJS would be more than happy to grab Misa, but I feel like they're probably set on forward prospects.
SJS gets a top pairing defenseman to play with Dickinson once he's ready for the top pair and NYI gets Schaefer, Misa and still potentially has the assets to go after Hagens, giving them a trio of elite prospects to secure a bright future for the team.
If the Isles are trading Dobson they need to send him to the Sharks so they can draft Misa. As an Isles fan there's no way that I want to see them trade JGP and Dobson to get the 7th overall pick, I don't even think Mike Millbury would make that trade.

Grav Im been following very close to the islanders as im a huge fan and something to really keep an eye on earlier we had trade talks with Utah Phily then now Boston. You see it picks 4,6,7 I have a suspicion that we have frameworks of a deal with all three of these teams as we all want Hagens and darche still needs to put his stamp on the team. Just something to keep an eye on and I just have a sense we might see something.
You know Buffalo is a disaster if someone would rather go to Vancouver lol. (Yes I know Byram is from the area)
From what I’ve heard, the Sabres are looking for a right handed shot and would like to acquire another first rounder, Byram to the Sharks for Liljegren and #30 makes a lot of sense, I believe the Sabres want to deal #9 for a player as well, keep an eye on Dobson
I haven't heard much on Misas two way IQ . If it is low I like Frondell at 2

seems way too much value to me if the Flyers would trade Tippett and the 6th pick to move up 3 spots, especially given they might get the same player by staying at 6. Makes no sense.
Do you think Pittsburgh could try and combine Rakell with the 12th pick (seems NY is gonna give the 2025 pick) to move up to get a centre? At 11 and 12 there will be good players but probably not anyone you would build the retool/rebuild around
Barry Trotz would be a fool to pass up on James Hagens. Keep him and Stiga together in Nashville.
I can't see the Hawks trading the third for any player that isn't already or has the potential to be a star. At three, they could pick a guy who would at least be as good as the guys you mentioned. We're talking Peterka level.
I think Oilers should try and do a Bouchard for Dobson trade.
Hawks should trade up for Misa or try and trade #3 for Zegras.
The Flyers are 100% not moving Foerster just to move up 3 spots.

As a Hawks fan I would not trade the 3rd overall pick. I think they like Anton Frondell. He has the highest PNHLE rating in this draft. J.J. Perterka would be okay if the Hawks also got the #9 pick somehow.
Absolutely 0% chance the Flyers give up Foester and 6 + another pick to get up to 3, that would be insane and set the Flyers back years
Sounds like the top 5 or 6 projected are overrated in this years draft. Teams know they can get a better player later… This draft sucks
if Misa is off the board trade with Buffalo #3 for #9 and Peterka, perhaps the hawks throw in Reichel and a defense prospect which is pretty crowded and mostly NHL ready or 1 year away as the main pieces, trade with Philadelphia makes sense #3 Reichel plus a D prospect for #6 and someone like Tippett i would be eying O’Brien there

Then at 16 Chicago picks atchenson or eklund
Wonder if the Sabres would want to swap 9th overall and Peterka to get 3rd overall and the Hawks give Connor Murphy, Lukas Reichel, the leafs 2025 first and a second round pick as well
Rumors of a Pittsburg to 3 trade have been swirling , but I believe a Bruins/Flyers type trade back would make more sense. It's a lot like the 2019 draft when the Hawks had many in consideration for the 3 pick and picked Dach. Sometimes your eyes are bigger than your draft pick . If you have a pool of players in that same range , just let the draft come to you.
TBL trade them Isaac Howard and a 3rd rounder for the 3rd Overall this year. Howard is NHL ready now and fits their rebuild timeline.
As a flyers fan I would give up tippett and 6 maybe a late pick for that 3rd overall in a heart beat.

As much as I want to see huge trades go down within the top 10 picks, this happens every year that we hear a bunch of rumours leading up to the draft about all these posisble trades and then nobody does anything. So I'm not holding my breath.

Flyers would NEVER trade Foerster to move up from 6 to 3 let alone additional draft capital … The organization essentially views him as an untouchable in every trade discussion.
