I am so sick of speculation, not making the playoffs its been months of limbo I just want to know what our roster is gonna look like this fall.
The 7 million is more likely to go to Gavrikov than to Peterka. Rangers have started negotiations with Cullye which should be the first order of business. It is reported that at least 15 teams are interested in K'iller which bodes well for a good return. I mean he's got it all, except the hockey IQ. I think Robertson could make the team as a 7th & alternate with Vaak to get him more game reps. There will also be injuries for sure. They are reporting 3 yrs at 10 million for Cullye, but I think he might get more than that, We'll see.
After they sign Cuylle & Edstrom they are going to spend the money on Gavrikov because K. Miller won’t be on the team anymore. As far as young Centers they have a kid in Dylan Roobroeck who’s 6’7 205 lbs who scored 20 goals for Hartford last season and will cost them under 1 million to have on the team if he impresses during training camp. Drury should be smart to give Dylan Roobroeck a good long look in camp because he could be a very cost effective option for them in 2025-26.
Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about Drew Fortescue? Where does he rank among the top prospects? He played in the World Juniors Championship. They may have the answers in house already
