If a deal is agreed with Rossi before the trade then yes. Big no for Petterson even 1-1, he has too much baggage. I like Robertson a lot, but he is UFA eligible next summer so he is another that needs to sign long term before the trade goes through. The other Robertson issue is if Dallas cannot afford him under the cap, then they cannot afford Peterka. If Robertson was available with a cap dump and an extra asset in a 3-1 trade for Peterka with both pre signed, then a big yes.
Are we on Andersson's no trade list? He is UFA next summer so an agreement for an extension would need to be in place before the trade.
With the Vegas trade, is Barbashev going to give us more than Rosen over the next three years? The only way Rosen gets better from here is sustained NHL minutes and the 2nd LW slot is his ideal spot. Whitecloud would probaly be an upgrade on Clifton, but I would not do this deal.
Not sure that Boston would want to trade Swayman within the division. His trade protection lasts another 12 months according to Puckpedia. Undecided on this deal, I think a RD or a forward is a better trade option for Peterka and giving Levi the starter opportunity this autumn is the way to go.

For the Love of God stop with the Elias Petersson( the forward) trades! He is SOFT, OVER PAID , OVERRATED, & UNMOTIVATED! Not too mention his contract is SCARY- 7 years at 11.6 million. If Buffalo makes any trade with Vancouver then hopefully its for Demko.

Get FAs Gavrikov, Helleson, Peterka for Weegar (not Andersen and if Calgary doesn't bite then keep Peterka), Norris for Edvinsson (try for 3/4 of these) Pick up Pat Kane (replaces Peterkas production at half the cost), shoot for a cup. This way you have a big, physical D-core TO START WITH which you absolutely need to win a cup. Now Edvinsson, Dahlin, Helleson, Gavrikov, Weegar, and Docker can lay down hits and stop pucks while Power and Byrum are busy painting their nails + getting their pretty assist points and giving up many a multiple odd man rush that not even Dom Hasek could stop. Toronto got knocked out because of a soft D core. Florida won because of physical D core depth. Sabres are 3 games out 1st last year, Dahlin goes down: 13 game losing streak.. ZERO DEPTH. 29th worst defense. Sabes dont need 'Rossi'. Hes worse than Peterka how does that make sense? It doesn't. Swayman? Joe you have some great ideas, Whitecloud not terrible, but Swayman is not a good idea. LA kings, Golden Knights, recent winners: D-cord depth.
I would do that Swayman trade in a heartbeat regardless of last years numbers..that's by far my favorite you mentioned, he would be a perfect mentor for Levi and we could always trade Swayman eventually no problem if need be also
I’d only trade Peterka for Jason Robertson. All these other moves are terrible. Rasmus Anderson was like a -26, Marco Rossi straight up for Peterka? So we get the lesser player? You’re actually paid for this?
