  1. The whites look great. The blue are okay. I like them having another shade of blue or maybe even a touch of red. Overall, as a pair, they’re good , nothing amazing.

  2. The Fanatics jerseys look like cheap knockoffs with the way the stripes have that thick stitching or overlapping material design on the arms and waist.

  3. Hey Neil, if you have the time I recommend watching Icethetics here on YouTube. Chris is always up to date on the latest jersey news!

  4. St. Louis' current home and away jerseys (from the Adidas years) are some of the nicest jerseys I've ever seen! Therefore, I can't help but be disappointed with this rebrand.

This new brand is nice, but it's not better than what they have now

  5. For this upcoming year, they plan to use last years jersey as the alternate. I am really hoping for a future yellow jersey, similar to the reverse retro but with the new logo

  6. I love all your videos but always have a few disagreements! I personally think the same blue on blue looks sorta boring, but looked better when you showed the whole kit. I agree with the numbers needing an outline, I personally think the away does too, the yellow outline really makes the numbers pop.

  7. Should have stuck with their SC era designs. I like the “SL” music note alternate logo. Would look good on the shoulders.

  8. I love the in depth logo analysis you were doing compared to the old logo. I would love to see more content like that in the future. Not only talking about likes and dislikes but the minute details you won’t see on a first glance. Keep up the great work 👍

  9. 0:13 Do you follow Icethetics? He is the best at having sources and news on new jerseys and branding changes.

15:09 They are using the previous home jersey as a third.

  10. They are Minimalistic but way better then there previous ones. Royal Blue on Navy just never looks right together.

  11. Are you sad that the previous set is gone after rebrand? Turn your sad face upside down, the royal blue and navy jersey will be used as the third jersey, you welcome. Let’s Go Blues!!! 🔵🟡🏒

  12. Anaheim went retro but enhanced. StL went retro and simplified. I prefer what Anaheim did. Partly being a fan of shoulder yolks. Partly appreciating what the white accents did for the former blues heritage jersey.

  13. If it is solely yellow on the crest, they should have used navy to make it look less like a floating yellow outline.

  14. As a Blues fan who saw them play in their original uniforms I totally agree with your assessment of the trumpet logo. I don't see the point

  15. As a graphic designer, I love the clean minimal look of the solid numbers. Less sometimes is more. Outline on outline on outline is too much.

  16. As a lifetime Blues fan I love these colors and these jerseys and I don't exactly mind the rebrand but I definitely don't think it was necessary. I think we had one of the best jerseys in the league already, unbiased as someone who loves jerseys overall. I also enjoyed having the light blue as our throwbacks for an alternate, but I have nothing against these jerseys and I like the new secondary logos.

Edit: As a side note I also can't understand why there is no outline on the numbers. Did someone just not think of it or what's going on?

Edit again: I think they announced they were making the previous homes the new alternate which isnt bad exactly i just wouldve liked to see something else. In my opinion bringjng back the arch jersey would be awesome.

  17. Thoughts from a Blues fan:
    – Overall I think this is fine. I love the retro WC/alternates, but I'm not convinced that they are better than the royal/navy color scheme they've been using since 1998. The away jersey you are wearing in this video is my absolute favorite Blues jersey from their entire history – might have something to do with the fact that it's the one they were wearing in Boston in 2019 when they finally hoisted the Cup.
    – I am very happy that the home numbers have returned to yellow instead of the white numbers introduced in the Adidas era. I do agree that they probably need a bit of an outline, but supposedly they mocked it up with a variety of options and thought this looked the best/clearest from a distance for fans watching the games.
    – I have a similar concern about the primary Bluenote logo on the home jersey. The yellow outline is thicker (good), but the matching colors of the logo and jersey make the logo blend in too much. It feels like the logo is getting lost in a sea of blue and it needs that additional white outline to help it stand out more – it looked much better on the WC/alternates that this is based on. Looking around the league, the closest ones I can find that have such a lack of contrast are Philly's black alternates (which at least have a little orange), Dallas's black alternates (which use a bold neon green), and Detroit's home reds (the Winged Wheel has a lot more white than the Bluenote has yellow).
    – Based on the photo from 3:00, the pants on the home kit are trying to be the same blue but are very slightly off and it is distracting. Hopefully they get that cleaned up.
    – The new away kit is excellent, no notes. Maybe the lack of number outlines, but I agree with you that it works better on the away than the home. Is it better than the previous away? No.
    – You were comparing the shape of the Bluenote to the "heritage" version, but it's much more interesting to compare with the version on the previous home/away, as there's a much clearer contrast. The version from 1998-2025 had a much more rounded wing and a more bulbous note head at the bottom. I like the more angular shape that they are going back to with the new version.
    – The Blues did say that the previous home jerseys with the royal/navy scheme would remain as an alternate. I'm curious whether the new alternate will be exactly the same as the previous home or whether it will also have some tweaks (e.g. using the new Bluenote shape with the old color scheme, changes to numeral/nameplate typeface/color, etc.).
    – I immediately liked the STL treble clef logo when they soft-launched it as a helmet logo during the most recent Winter Classic, and it's my favorite of the three alternate logos. They're going to sell a bunch of STL hats.
    – The "Fleur" design is fine (it is my wife's favorite of the three) but two different treble clef-based alternate logos is unnecessary, and this is the worse of the two in my opinion.
    – I actually really like the "Trumpet" secondary logo. The design of the Arch mirrored in the River is pretty slick, and it provides a modern alternative to their old trumpet secondary logo from the 1990s. I could see it as a shoulder patch or even as the main logo on a third jersey someday.

  18. The new secondary logos are cool. I especially like the STL interlocking words – I think that flows better than the St Louis Cardinals interlocking logo

  19. On their own they are good, but as compared to the current set… yeah downgrade

  20. I kinda wonder if the borderless numbers on the home would’ve looked better in white. I like it on the road jersey much better

  21. Jerseys are not available in the team store either as far as I know. Heard they are going on presale in September

  22. Really dig this re-brand. Or maybe up-brand. The road is perfect! However, the logo on the home jersey is a bit disappointing, it’s basically just a yellow outline. It looks ok in these photos but they are edited and in perfect lighting. And it needs something on the shoulders, either a shoulder patch or yokes… maybe yellow? Also agree on the numbers. They should’ve strokes on the numbers for both the home and away.

Also, I would’ve shortened the lines in the logo just a little bit.
