  1. Let me know your thoughts on this trade….UTAH has also announced they signed Peterka to a 5 year Deal at 7.7M

  2. I like Kesselring, but he's at best a solid 2RD. Doan is a decent young player. Peterka is a legit top line winger. Adams should have gotten at least a 2nd and 3rd.

  3. Wtf is Adam’s doing lol. Wish Montreal could’ve got in there but I’m not losing sleep on it. I still think Utah / Arizona is where careers go to die

  4. Never was sold on peterka "star power" but I thought this trade was laughable. BUT I don't know Josh Doan. And maybe I underestimated Kesselring. So I came here… Sigh I wish I had missed something

  5. I so agree. The Sabres should have got more, added a draft pick swap. I like the Sabres but that GM has got to go.

  6. As a Sabres fan I was obviously hoping for a bigger return – but I don't think this is as bad as being made out.

Kesselring is exactly the type of player we need on D. Hopefully means Samuelsson is gone.

I can only imagine management see more upside than most in Doan.

Adams actually has a good record in trades (Eichel return, getting a R1 for Risto, Byram for Mitts, McLeod looks great, I like the Norris trade so long as he's healthy) so I'm hopeful the guys we got turn out to be good fits.

  7. huh?? Peterka has never hit 30 goals and he was our worst forward defensively with 87 giveaways, never hits, has zero toughness..please report ALL details before laying judgement 🙄 go look at what they got back, check the hits, blocks, sizes of the players..the Sabres just got tougher which is the main issue with the Sabres..only Shannon THG reported this properly

  8. Normal people don't understand these things.

How are you going to feel when Seattle trades Shane Wright plus something to Dallas for Jason Robertson? That's an obvious one coming. As a Kraken fan, going to hurt losing Shane, but how do you turn down an opportunity to get JR? Just look at his numbers. Also makes sense for Mush and JR to come to Seattle together. Why not?

I also think the Kraken are still going to take a run at getting K'Andre Miller, likely a trade involving Jamie Oleksiak.

  9. Come on GMKA, you couldn’t get a pick swap done in this deal!

Kesselring only makes sense – he partners with Power right away.

Then again this channel blasted Adams last year for McLeod for Savoie and how’d that work out?

  10. well, in a continuing effort to prove their stupidity, the buffalo sabres, aka " the village idiots", trade away another player that really represents what is truly needed to turn around a floundering, shitty organization. many very excellent players have all gone and done extremely well for themselves, and are more than likely happy to be out of this armpit of pure shit !! after multiple people have come and gone, tons of players, many coaches, numerous gm's, the only person left to put any blame on is pegula himself !! yes, he has done tons to help the downtown area, but i said this over a year ago… " after the bills lost some 80 million in the diggs "deal", it will absolutely NOT be the bills who suffer, it will surely be the sabres who take the hit", and this has surely come to pass !! many, many times over the last decade and a half i have heard our local sports reporters and analysts ( paul) say after a game " well, the sabres certainly did not show up tonight !!", which ultimately points to one question…. why would ANYBODY in the market for, let's say, buying a new vehicle, spend their money on something that was manufactured by an employee that "did not show up for work today" ( aka "did a shitty days work !!!) ??? same with this regime !!! btw, we have heard the phrase "regime change" in the world news lately…. it is truly time for pegula to let go as it seems he is happy with a partially filled arena, profits from beer/food/hats/shirts/etc. i am sure he has pretty smart accountants and lawyers at this stage of his life and is happy with making what money he does with our team, but does not care to bring our sabres to the next level… please go away, pegula !!! there is no one left to blame, and even this "new" management team ok'd this trade ? they must be losers as well ( didn't we also get one of the staal [sp] brothers, too ??) . sorry for the tirade, but i have been a fan since imlach drafted gil… i cannot even listen on the radio anymore !!! blessings to you for doing a great job for us !!!
