I hadn't really thought about it, but if you're drafted by the Islanders…
They're good enough to not get many high draft picks in the near future.
So whoever goes there is one of very few pieces for the future.
The Sharks at #2 have one of the best young core of players in the league.
The Hawks at #3 also have a phenomenal set of younger players or draft pieces over the next few years.
I'd rather be a Shark/Hawk top prospect than a top Islander prospect.
