spence is pretty good in the OHL ,, hope he can develop his skills to play in the nhl , and with #71 pick we got a d-man who had 11 points in 54 games .. with all these 18 yr olds…that pressure of getting a sure pick in the 1st round is pretty iffy. at least round 2 on, there's less expectations and less pressure. you never know how teenagers will develop into pros. either way congrats to all the draft picks & good luck!

Eriksen is my favorite pick. If he was born 3 days later he’d be in next years class. And good chance he’d be a 1st or at worst a 2nd round talent. But let’s see if we can develop him 😂

Spence dropped because he was perceived to be a power forward and measure way smaller than expected at the combine. Doubtful his playing style will translate to the NHL.
