  1. Ladies and gentleman, may I present to you, an HOUR+ of prospect talk! What a crazy draft we just witnessed, let me know what YOUR thoughts are on YOUR favorite team's draft crop! And which teams do YOU think were the BIGGEST winners & losers? #GravGang

  2. I give the Sens a B for their draft based on just the picks they made if we include the Spence deal then I think it bumps them up to a B+ but it was nice to see them go for more skill guys instead of just big players needed a bit more of a fix in the prospect pool vs a lot of the same style prospects that have been drafted over the past 3 years

  3. So dumb, Pittsburgh killed the draft. Isles was so very overrated. If the mocks are right, why doesn't every team fire their FO and simply use the mocks??

  4. I absolutely LOVED the Idzan pick! He could be a sleeper and will also be playing on the same team as Hensler. I'll be tuning in to a lot of WisconSEN games.

  5. I find grading the draft before any players play an actual NHL game so ridiculous.
Remember in 2018 all the “experts” said the Red Wings won the draft and got an A+ for getting Zadina at 6 (was expected to be taken 3rd overall) and Veleno at 30 (expected at 12th overall).
Zadina is no longer in the league and was a bust and Veleno is now on his 3rd NHL team, never reaching 15 goals in a season.
So let’s wait 5 years before giving out team grades SMH 🤦‍♂️

  6. Appreciate the comprehensive review Grav!! You’re the prospect whisperer.
Really helped me grasp how the players my Flyers selected could pan out. Was down about Nesbitt with the talent on the board but happy with the 2nd round coup I must say.

  7. 14 teams AHEAD of the Coilers, all with first or at worst second round picks, vs a team who didn't geta pick till 3rd and had 4 total picks adding basically nothing to their already empty prospect pool. Amazing just how imbred the Coiler propaganda gobbling pool is.

  8. I really appreciate the depth of the excellent information and your knowledge of the subject matter. But for me you talk way too fast bro and at times it was hard for me to listen to you. You sound like you are running a race and in a mad dash to the finish line. How about less unnecessary information delivered at a more professional and mature speed like the NHL announcers on TV. Just my opinion and I hope you don't mind the constructive criticism. Time to step up your game and take it to the next level. Also, if you slowed down you wouldn't be making all the odd facial expressions that you do. Check out the tape in an honest objective manner. Good luck to you!

  9. 49:52– Literally skipped to the Islanders review just to see if he realized while reviewing Victor Eklund, that the name he's trying to remember is William Eklund. They're brothers.

  10. There are a LOT of organizations that have doubted the Lightning…for a DECADE. That hasn't worked out too well…

  11. is it crazy to say the habs did the best here with the dobson trade and all the smart picks in the draft? or was the isles draft that good

  12. as a penguins fan, outside of kindel, penguins seems to have wanted to get bigger and play more "tough" if you havnt noticed, the pens ( as of recent years ) kind of just get bullied in that regard, after we lost hornqvist a few years back we kind of had no one really laying the body, all these 6 foot 5 guys, yes they wont be high offensive talents, but the way they play is going to be much needed in the future, kindel is gonna be good for us in the future, his size isnt that scary, hes basically the same build as crosby, his skating does need work, but with time and development he should be fine

  13. I’m amped about my Flyers overall direction after this draft! The Nesbitt pick was the only contentious pick made, and at least Danny B got exactly who he wanted, I can respect conviction!

  14. Aiden Foster is a tremendous sleeper prospect. He was playing 4th line and was a physical player and a fighter, to then having a great back half of the season and was one of the best players in the playoffs for Prince George. Expect him to have a breakout offensive season next year along with his physicality

  15. I like the way you did your rankings, not even because of where you placed every team but the way you did it kept me listening to the whole shabang!
Good for you being a content creator that isn't using AI to do all the work. That's how you win over fans. Great job bro!

  16. Not a personal criticism as everybody does these, but I think the concept of draft grades a day after the draft is just stupid. Especially in a weak draft with a steep drop off after the top 8 or so picks. Everybody just ranks teams high who got players that went later than the predictions and then ranks low the teams who got guys who went earlier than predictions. Even though it was heavily stated that there's a huge drop off after the top and it was said that team's draft boards would all vary wildly. yet somehow, a team is "dumb" if they didn't draft in line with the pre-draft rankings that various publications put out. Why am I supposed to consider random website as gospel, but a pro-teams own paid scouts are not trustworthy?

  17. I don’t hate the Pens approach in this weaker draft. They added a lot of strong hard working guys after their skill guy in Kindel. Next year has a much stronger draft class where I would expect Dubas to look to add more star power.

  18. Regarding the Blue Jackets' great 2nd round and 5th round picks,
thank my Florida Panthers for trading for their great backup goalie in exchange.
Hey, thanks for hosting! In "good" news, at least I can't hate on your Stars since I switched from the Jets. 😂

  19. 37:04 I don't know if you know this but THIS draft GM Zito picked based on HOF'er coach Paul Maurice's advice.
Zito said: “There’s kind of a theme with some of these guys. Getting hard players and hopefully having them prepared for Coach Maurice when they get here.” 15 hours ago 😉 coach Maurice wants gritty players for all lines & positions.

  20. For me, the biggest loosers are the Bruins and the Flyers. The Bruins took all those questionnable foward in those first selection. Moore and Simpson they have a low chance of succes and Hagens is just not the type of player you want to buils around. If your already are stack, taking a chance with him is a good idea, but he is just not that impacful if he doest have points.

The flyers, it could have been a great draft…. BUT what the hell happen… Moving up at high cost for Nesbitt… Nestrasil is a similaire player and went out at 25, i think they could have got him at 22 and still draft an other player in the first round. And Murtagh i think its a great value that I will be honnest, but… after that… Why go so much for ur fourth line and bottom 6 when cleary ur top 4 and top6 need works. Amico so high… I would have took a chance on Prokorov… And trade down the other second round pick and may be Amico and guard would have been avaible… If not there is equivalent. AND MARTONE. He will disapoint and we all know it. The rebuild will be hard in Philly

  21. personally i would’ve preferred someone else at #3 but if Frondell does exceed his ceiling he could be a Leon Draisaitl 2.0
