    Yes but it could come at a cost. Rumors have it, the Rangers tampered with the process in landing Gavrikov, before the start of FA period. "IF" the rangers are found guilty of this, there Organization will be fined and they'll have to forfeit at least, one good draft pick. Cuylle, Garland and Miller were given offers as well but none of them has agreed to sign yet. Jones and Arthur were not given offers and more then likely, will no longer be on the team, starting next year.

    HELL YEA first my Steelers get Jalen Ramsey then the rangers sign the best free agent in the nhl and a top defenseman at that who cares if Pat Riley is useless my other teams are cooking

    So it looks like a first rounder for K'iller & probably something else. I laughed at a Canes article that welcomes K'iller's "aggressiveness." As for Gavrikov, he apparently played with Igor in Russia. I wonder if Igor phoned him & said "you gotta come here Gavvy, these defense are hanging me out to dry. I'm in shooting gallery, like recruit in Russian army!"

    Saying it’s a positive thing that Gav went up against the oilers in the playoffs the last few years couple have been spun as a positive if the kings didn’t lose every single series lol

    7×7 isn't actually a good deal. For one reason …The Rangers were the only team he wanted go to !!!!! If the Kings were willing to go to 7×7 he would have stayed. This is not Ekblad we are talking about here. Who by the way went cheaper. The Rangers better hope this does not become a weight around their necks in 3 years time. Either that or they better start to learn to develop players before the zombie apocalypse.🏒🍸

    Gavrikov is an excellent skilled player. There's no doubt. Folks go catch up on some footage and highlights- his play is high IQ, savvy and balances smart physicality (opposite of Trouba phy style etc). Rangers haven't had this level of skilled D since a long time.
