The problem is the Leafs players have no real desire for winning. I'm an Avalanche fan and saw a chance that they could win The Cup this year. I'm not upset that they lost to Dallas because it was a great, hard fought series. They didn't get outplayed at the start of the game during their loses and simply give up.
Leafs in the playoffs are like a team that doesn’t really want to play, they show up because they have to, if they win or lose, they don’t care. I’ve noticed with the leafs how quickly they give up, they can be down 3 goals and it’s like they’re done playing, had enough and stop playing.

My memory of Playoffs 2002 Mats Sundin got injured and Gary Roberts put the Leafs team on his back (Alyn McCauley followed the leader too) and they made the final four.
The leafs in 2004 and 2006 were tough. The sens then were basically what the leafs are now. They leaned out the roster and went to the cup finals. Every sens playoff run has been with Grit and Grind teams. Leafs need to embrace being the underdog and the heel character.
Doesnt matter what yoh say bro, leafs suck and wont win the cup in your lifetime. Hockey is usa game , forget any Canadian team with Stanley.. too many taxes, too tough to live, no sponsors, no money in comparison.. cheer for a usa team youll be more happy
They are paid millions of dollars. Funny the preasure in Toronto has never changed but its only this group of players whining about it. Imagine Darcy Tucker or Mats Sundin saying they didnt play well because the fans are a bunch of meanies.
