Frondell has a Draisaitl element to his game. Excited to see him get some pre-season action. Would be interested to see if there's a way to stream SHL games this upcoming season.
I was hoping for Hagens but I understand the logic putting Frondell with Bedard will only make both of them great especially with their shots and with Nestrasil and West great development guys who can grow with the organization with high upside up the middle great job by KD and his staff our pipeline is stocked at every position it’s only a matter of time before we see our NHL team flooded with talent.
The Blackhawks have nobody in the prospect pool like Frondell, he is a wrecking ball on the ice. It will be interesting to see how he fits into the group but I can see a day where he is ripping sick no look sauce passes from Bedard
The ducks drafted Perry and Getzlaf in the 20s. They won a cup and had the team built around them. So im not mad at the big picks. Frondel hopefully can turn into atleast a Bobby Holik type.
Frondell concerns were the same concerns people had with Barkov. I'm perfectly fine with this pick. Especially if Conner ends up on the wing. I honestly want one more year of the draft lottery. I like how the team is being built. I am a lifetime Hawks fan and have lived through some dark years. I am patient. When this team is ready I want them to be in the mix for years to come. You can't rush if you want lasting success. I was also very happy we didn't go out in free agency and make moves just to make moves. A lot of overpay dog shit contracts out there and I am glad we were not involved. Go Hawks!
