i only watched a little bit, but it was so refreshing hearing all these new, young names. most likely only 4-5 turn into NHL regulars in the next few years, and maybe only 1 or 2 top 6ers, but it feels like we leapfrogged into a top 10-15 talent pool from last year's draft to now.
I went to the scrimmage and my god Prokhorov was I think has became my second favorite prospect he was smooth and he loves to hit and some of the prospects got chippy with each other😅
Prokhorov impressed me the most by far. His skating shocked me
Eklund and Prokhorov looked awesome.

I think Vladamir Malakhov is the team's Russian scout. I hope he keeps his eye on him. With Schaefer: he's turning 18 in September and they are going to watch him like a hawk in his training and he hasn't played a game in 6 months.

Schafer is 17 years old, he doesn't turn 18 for like 3 months, he also hasn't played a game in like 7 months!! let the kid go develop in college for a year before we start making an judgements
It’s Schaefer’s first game off of surgery. My son is same age n had a rod put in his arm from hockey. It took a bit for him to get his confidence and he wasn’t playing against the best.
Prokhorov looked great, add 15+ lbs to his frame and it’s going to be scary. Better skating and hands than I anticipated. Hood looked really good, very good positioning in the crease. Shafer needs to wait a year. Needs to bulk up, made some really good outlet passes, transition was good as well. My fear is him getting decimated physically, Hedman was 240lbs when he was drafted, it’s night and day frame wise. Eklund looked good. Was strange to see players in an Isles jersey skating that quickly.
Aitcheson was the second best player on the lce.

Schaefer is obviously not in cardio shape. He's also 17 years old
I already know Schaefer is gonna get home from this camp and hit the ice at home, he’s gonna come back to training camp and preseason different, I’m confident in that and I believe he’ll outshine Isaiah George to make the team

Just to be clear – you cannot play preseason games without having an NHL contract. You can't play NCAA games if you have an NHL contract. If he's playing in preseason games (a month into the college semester), he made the team.
