Great, but if your vision is to beat Florida in the ECF, now you need to go out and do the same thing about 2 more times lol. What we lost in Teuvo is what we just got back, Ehlers is slightly better than Teuvo no doubt. If any of the younger players can step up and fill a slot in the Top 6, while performing at expectation then really all that is needed is a 2C. Then the bottom 6 can be filled with free agents and some prospects. At this point, why wouldn't the Canes have a Stanley Cup opportunity?
But I guess the key takeaways is find out what Florida has, you have to meet them tit for tat, since it feels like they're a copy cat (no pun intended). And ultimately, their offense coaching still might be better, we'll see because I know RBA has worked on it. So I guess what is important about getting Ehlers and maybe a 2C is that it means you can play with the prospects and younger stars a bit more, if they're not on their hot streak look for one of the prospects that are playing well and give them extra minutes. But I think at this point Jarvis is someone you keep in the Top 6 if not Top 3, and you rotate other players like Stankoven up and down depending on how they're playing.
That's HUGE. Now we just need a centre and we're done. Maybe we'll not get the Conference title next season, but we're building a team to win the Stanley Cup very soon.

Yay…. we have another undersized forward who can't score in the playoffs!!! So excited to basically stay the same.
LETS GO CANES. This is exactly the type of guy we needed to add. This team is just getting better and better. I think with him and Miller, and the improvements from our young guys like Stank, Jarvis and Nikishin by end of next year we will be right there with Florida.
How did this team make the con. finals? Was KK the 2nd line Center?
