Drury is proving to be the worst GM in the league.
Igor to the Oilers and McDavid to the Rangers. Do you really want to change the culture of the Rangers? This would be a good start.

Over paying for Gavrikov would be such a mistake. They just pushed Trouba out because of a bad contract and now you want to throw even more money and more years to a defensive defensemen. Would be an epic mistake. I’m hoping these are just rumors.

The Gavrikov rumors confuse me. Basically the same age and type of defenseman as Jacob Trouba. And projected at the same 8 mil cap hit?! Should have just kept our captain at that rate…. Don’t see him as that much of an upgrade over Trouba that he’d be worth that same amount of money.

Drury is clueless. Every move he has made has been horrible. From trading Pavel B, to trading for Soucy. Rumors are going around now that he is not well liked by other GM’S and organizations. If the Rangers regress worse this season and finish up 8-10 games under 500 which in all likelihood will happen. Accompanied by the bad contracts for Mika and Igor o top of what ever else he gives out this off season it most likely will be his last. I truly believe now the Rangers are heading into dark times and will be like the pre cap era again from 2000-2005. So get ready for the next Letter to come out about rebuild 2.0.
The fact that the Rangers said they wanna get younger, faster & more physical and then let Cuylle get offer sheeted is unacceptable. Drury needs to go. Cuylle is exactly everything they said they want. If Cuylle leaves I’m done with the Rangers until Drury leaves
I would easily sign cuylle to a 7×7 or 8×8 deal, especially if they have to match an offer sheet. Like you said they need more guys like cuylle, not less. Look at Florida who have won the past 2 cups, they’re team is filled with guys like that.
I could see them signing gavirkov as bad of a mistake as them signing wade redden.
Drury is sickening and Dolan is a loser, with that we're screwed just like every other year. Management has a habit of dumping their captains hense, Callahan and Trouba. Cuylle should have been a priority right off the bat

No offer sheet will come for Will Cuylle, because we can afford to resign him, and whoever does this to anger Drury, would suffer our wrath. I could be wrong but this is how it's going to go, Rangers are going to re-sign K'Andre Miller for 1 year. Gavrikov will become a New York Ranger likely 7 years. Will Cuylle will re-sign with the Rangers for 1 Year at least but at $2M-$3M
