Don't think the theory needs to be that elaborate… it's just pure incompetence.
Every time I watch the sabers the last yeah I guess 14 years they've always been soft af
Tough bottom 6 forwards are easy to find, tough top 6 forwards are difficult to come by.
This team hasn't been tough to play against since Kaleta left lol
Its hard to take softest out of the DNA of the team. Maybe if you could get some dudes over here like 2 possibly 3 of the toughest dudes in hockey on your team that could be a start. Hard to change your culture when its soft. Sabres players over the years have rather shyed away from any sort of contact to make a play on the puck and it has show over the years
Wanna know how you become tough to play against ??? Get good players and when you have them build around them and keep them 😂😂😂
I heard Pegula prefers soft skilled guys over blue collar hockey!
This team hasn't been right since Lucic ran Miller — and no one responded. Remember the teams of Rob Ray, Brad May and Matthew Barnaby? The fourth line should be all maniacs who want to punch an opponent's face in just because of the way they look. Acquiring these types of players should be easy …
Look @ the drafts.

Hire the right coach that want to play "tough hockey " style and have management let to coach do his thing. Still i probably takes around 5 years to change the culture
Not for nothing I did watch last season and they smoked alot of the top teams and got badly picked by the poor teams! The d has to greatly improve
