We don’t want playoffs
great another Boston guy… this channel suckksssss
Holding my breath for Sweeney to fuck this up.
Yes on trading Zacca and picks or other players for Rossi but Boston won't give up Lindholm but Mittelstat for sure. But I like Evan Rodriguez trade that is what the Bruins need to do get a Underrated player who can give them play making and scoring.
Love the idea of the Rossi trade even tho i'm a bit of a hampus lindholm enjoyer myself…however im lowkey against winning for the playoffs because we're not gonna make a deep push, and that just hurts us in the end, but whatever can get us bonafide young talent, that in 5years will build a core and strong foundation for the team to become cup champs, im down for that!! Look at the OKC thunder now, they traded away the guys with value and built a championship squad with good picks and young talent
Marco Rossi would be an amazing add, but we already got a smaller C in James Hagens, (again i dont have an issue with that necessarily, skill > size) and on top, Hagens appears to have a higher ceiling and probably a better two way. I would totally look into it if I was Sweeney tho. I think Zacha is here to stay but I'd look into moving Mitelstadt
With Don Sweeney as team builder the Stanley Cup is 100 million miles away with no end in sight. Had a good draft and then we take giant leaps backward with a dreadful, no hope whatsoever, low intelligence 1st day of free agency. I would have rather the Bruins go into the season with an incomplete roster looking to fill holes with stiffs from Providence than hand out lucrative long term deals to mediocre garbage that wont move the needle at all like Tanner Jeannot, Sean Kuraly (I hate it so much bringing this guy back), and Arvidson. The Jeannot contract especially has been the worst signing of free agency for any team, so bad that other teams and their fans are laughing at us. Pastrnak was drafted by Chiarelli, but other than him this roster was totally constructed by Don Sweeney and its pathetic stuff man like holy shit. Don is not a very good GM, he's had a stacked deck to play with ever since he got the job as Bruins GM and with generational talent to work with across the board how many Stanley Cups was Don able to bring Boston as the team builder…..0! A big Fat F'n zero!
The first trade I like somewhat, if we can move Mittlestadt I am all for it, however the 2026 2nd I would hold onto and instead see if we can add maybe Lysell and the 2027 2nd. The 2nd deal looks good, although Florida just brought in Tarasov, not sure they would take Korpisalo, but if they would , then definitely make that deal. As for Rossi, he is pretty good, but I still think Poitras can be that same type of player and that is quite a bit to give up. We should keep all our top picks, especially in 2026 draft.
Bruins are piling up contracts and they're going to group together all the culd over 3rd and 4th liners and trade a bunch of them in one big deal that's what's going on right now
That Rossi deal is to much players no pick
I would try to package Zacha and Korpisalo for something. What do you think you can get with that?
