Austin, this might be a silly and more likely even dumber question: but can they ever negotiate contracts? Take nurse for example. We know he isn’t a 9m dollar player. HE knows he isn’t a 9m dollar player. They’re all talking team friendly contracts. Could hypothetically the team or the player renegotiate ? From horcoff to nurse, how do teams correct bad contracts. They don’t I’m thinking
Even more reasons to NOT watch the Oilers anymore. They GIVE 2 substandard dmen 20mil and have to choose which leftovers they're gonna sign. I feel sad for McDavid and Draisaitl, I'd like to see them with a Stanley cup or 2. But I don't see it happening with the Oilers, more decades of darkness, sad.
To me I would trade when his contract is done or somehow get to move him with in a year or two left in his contact but if not Nures he's done he's not worth 9.25 million i would only pay him 2 or 3 million.. but with the goaltender coach maybe this is what they need and the coach hopefully works them on there weakness so they can be better but if I had to move one probably pickard cause Stu is still young and has lots to learn and it's fixable

Pickard was 7–1 in the playoffs you need to WAKE UP!! They Never would have made it out of the 1st round without Pickard. Skinner struggled & thats where changes need to be made. I can see Skinner being VERY successful on another team.. The Oilers need depth on defense so they can sit Nurse when need be………….
Skinner is amazing as a backup. He isn't cut out to be a starter. Just my opinion anyway.
