  1. Canucks with injuries throughout the season and unable to ice a full lineup at any point last year….

Unanimous agreement that the turmoil in the locker room was a massive distraction… so much so, a top line C was traded leaving a huge gap in the middle.

However, the Canucks still ended up with 90+ points and almost made the playoffs. WITH the same group of players they re-signed

My money is on the Canucks to do much better this year than last

  2. TSN….Note When ALBERTA Is A New Country–Territory—State ? FREE AGENTS WILL WANT TO SIGN IN EDMONTON & CALGARY ? NO GST–DOLLAR PAR WITH USA–NO INCOME TAX WITHIN 5-YEARS ? HUGH SELLING POINTS ?

  3. It would be nice if the people you were interviewing actually understood the cap… At least 2 players on current oilers forward group will be in the minors meaning they will be increwing cap all year with just over 2 million in space. Thats enough to make a move at thr deadline to bolster what you need late in the season via trade and retention.

  4. You guys and a lot of people are going to disagree with this but Montreal is going to have a Stanley cup contending team this year, I say this because I know their going to se history and prove everyone wrong!

  5. I think if Bowen Byrum or Anderson goes anywhere, it's gonna go to an Atlantic division team that has Draft picks as well as money. It's not going anywhere else. My biggest bet is to Detroit Detroit Red Wings.

  6. I think the Oil will be ok. They needed a bit of a shakeup and the pickups they got along with the younger players have to have a shot and they are good. They are not done yet either!

  7. Montreal definitely had room to improve and they did just that,

Oilers lost some identity in the players they lost and got team B in return. And who’s the #1 goalie? Let’s figure it out before playoffs.

Toronto didn’t really find help for 90pts loss per season, or a win by committee solution.

  8. Montreal. I think they will finish first in the Atlantic. Some people think like crag said sens won’t make the playoffs next year.

  9. The Oilers are in a similar boat as the Leafs, where they've signed these reclamation projects and expecting them to outperform their contracts. It's a bad formula but they have no choice because of no cap space…

  10. I'm happy that after cheering for the leafs for 57 years I don't have to anymore. Waste of time. Not like the old days. Today there are too many cry babies.
