I think the Ceci signing is not so bad if you don’t know that you are playing the oilers in the playoffs. But signing a player who did see no land in the playoffs against McDavid is not right for the kings.

I totally understand Frank from Rancho Pales Verde about his dislike for Gretzky. It became a good old boys club with kings bringing in past glory from the oilers' cup winning days. Most of the blame should probably fall on McNall, who was more of a Kings fan than the actual owner.

With Gavrikov not bleeding the bank and the Kings not getting a sign and trade, it left the Rangers the ability to trade Miller and get some good picks. Rangers GM absolutely crushed it for his team.

Not a fan of the Ceci signing, just don't think he's a very good player, the Doumalin signing wasn't bad, maybe a little high, but he can play up the lineup if need be, Armia kinda feels like the Foegle signing and will likely age well, and Perry, oh Perry, sacrilege, but truthfully he's probably the right player, can still be a positive force for LA, only problem is these moves up front will most certainly block younger players, specifically Turcotte, Hellenius, and Lee you don't want to hurt long term growth for short term gains Armia and Perry aren't exactly rookies

You cannot. Trade? With what asset? The farm is very thin. Also, Without trading an already NHLer, who would’ve been a trade target? Again, this isn’t GM mode on your video game. Use your logic.
Ceci may look bad now and yes, I don’t agree on the 4 years but Ceci was best available. He CAN absolutely eat up some minutes and be played during the playoffs.

With all these signings we pretty much blocked movare, Portillo , turcotte, helenious, and akil from playing and Clarke will get less minutes. This is going to disrupt the locker room, all those team moments they would post after games is gone. We will continue to trade all these young players for nothing
I am so psyched on signing Perry. He's one of those consummate players that you hate him but love them if he's on your team.

Cody Cecci’s contract was too much and too long. But the people lamenting the loss of Spence in favor of Cecci should consider the fact that three head coaches in three years have not felt the need to hide Cody Cecci against any team in the West or even against Florida in the Finals. That should tell you something. And yeah, the money in term was too much but guess what, there was no other halfway decent right side of defenceman that were available free agency and when you have the money to add a piece that you need and don’t have to give up anything. Sometimes these poor value contracts aren’t the hinderance they first appear to be.
I’m not saying I would’ve signed the contract but I’m also not the GM and I’m not pretending to be, just playing devils advocate.
Anyone who's played Fantasy Hockey has no qualms about the Perry trade. Loyalties, favorites and personal grudges don't matter. Numbers do.

As a life long Kings fan, the Perry signing shows me that the GM doesn’t understand the fan base. This has me actually considering a new team to root for. F*ck Corey Perry. Nothing that happened this off season will get them past the first round. Again.
I want to go out of my way to thank you for respecting the opinion of the fans. Jesse Cohen and John Hoven disrespect the fans nonstop while defending the team mindlessly. You and Russell Morgan are the best however. Thankful for what you do sir.
