  1. Robbed? mmmm nah. We wont know for another 4-5 years how this pans out. Sam Reilly could very weel turn into a 2 way 2nd line center. At the same time Howard could be a 30-40 goal scorer. If these 2 things happen its a toss up. The Hyperbole is a bit much and im an Oiler fan. Having said that it was the right move. Cant wait for Reilly.

  2. If “Howard came to Edmonton because he play high up in the lineup”, as you said, then he could join most other teams and be on their top line. I’m not making sense of your comment.

  3. Janmark and rico need to be moved nuge can slide to 3 they can get a cheaper option at the 4C and have 3.5mil in cap flexibility

  4. This guy might honestly win the Calder if he gets significant time with drai and Mcdavid. He’s a total finisher with an nhl ready shot.

They absolutely just robbed the lightning on this trade.

  5. He was a 21 year old hobey baker winner. Nobody who has won the hobey baker at 21 has amounted to anything. Calm down. You are all Jimmy Vessey'ing him.

  6. Not if Oilers don't win the cup in the next two years, we're yet to replace Kane and Perry and Mcleod & Holloway.

  7. I'm confused that is like saying you traded Draisaitl for Auston Mathews and absolutely robbed Toronto. Both players look good they are both wingers Sam being 2 years younger with 71 points in 61 games with 28 goals very nice and Isaac with 52 points in 37 games but in college which I would argue isn't quite as skilled as the OHL. The plus is that you need to win NOW so he is ready Sam could cook for another year.

  8. I really like the trade, but everyone needs to calm down. He is still young and hasn't even played professional hockey yet. The NHL and AHL for that matter is a whole different beast than the NCAA.
