It should have been BLACK and/or ROBO penguin on the shoulders… Or Robo penguin in general in front.

im a pens fan and i don't mind the jersey but i'm disappointed they didnt go back to the blue retro jersey…i'll give it a 7/10

Not a fan of this, it looked a lot better in black.
What do I want? Robo Penguin. Why do I want it? I am not entirely sure.
So we are not getting the robo penguin here. Not even as a patch. Chris Cramer pointed out that the current penguin is on this jersey whereas the original inspiration jersey had the robo. It is also weird to have a day where Pittsburgh reveals a jersey featuring diagonal text and the NYRs reveal a jersey w/ a centered primary logo. Truly these are strange days.
As for this jersey, its a meep meep. Too much white. The subtraction of the retro logo as a patch and even the yellow triangle on the current penguin just does the jersey no favors.

I love it, I have a authentic Jagr from the 90's. Fits the role of a reverse retro.
Yawn, bottom 10 jersey by virtue of being boring.
Overall I do like it, it’s very fresh and clean so that definitely bumps it up…it’s got a very street wear vibe to me. I’m not the biggest fan of a diagonal text but it’s possible of the name is long, or there is some weight behind it (i.e. rangers having that shadowed stroke effect) and not short and weird like the Bolts one. It’d be cool as an alternate though
I get that it's supposed to be a reverse retro, but it looks better in black (like the old jersey). Still, clean jersey. 7/10
I’m kind of in the middle with this one…I love Penguins jerseys and I’m fine with the word mark but it feels like it’s missing something…I also feel like the penguins on the shoulders kind of get lost on the jersey…like they don’t stand out…maybe they could’ve put the yellow triangle behind them to make them pop more…I wouldn’t mind having it but it won’t be at the very top

Definitely wanted the robopenguin, but im not disappointed in this. I really do like it and as a penguin fan, I gotta have it. It's a very clean looking jersey. This one gets an A- from me.
This jersey disappointed me, I was hoping for the 2d Penguin head but its still not bad. 6.5/10
The more I see it, the more I like it. I originally didn't like it but I do kind of like it now. I do like it in white more than the original black. I still hate Pittsburgh but this jersey is okay. Good job, Pittsburgh.
I’m a Penguins fan, this jersey is pretty good. It’s not the best, but I still like it. I’m critical about all my teams too.
I like the striping, and I don’t mind the sideway font, but the color of the font kinda makes it look weird to me. Now had they used black for the word mark with a yellow outline like on the back I would like it a lot better. Now I will say the more I look at it it grows on me a bit

As a Pens fan, I can't stand that font or the text style in general. It does look bland, yes it is a complete reverse but there is nothing about it that's eye catching.
I feel like if teams give the fans what “they want” during campaigns like this, the jerseys don’t become as special
Have to say, between all of the Winter games and such that Pittsburgh has done over the years they have tapped out of the retros to pic from?
Im happy they didn't touch the robo penguin, I want that but unchanged from how it was. But it will probably be a long time before we get the return of the robo penguin cuz Mario seemingly hates it. I will be buy this for for sure, probably at full price. I wish it was the full time road jersey now!

I give it as a pens fan 1/10. I absolutely HATE it. They should’ve brought the robo penguin back. I hate it more every time i look at it. Honestly the vegas gold from 2002-2016 would have been better. I have ZERO intention on buying it. I have the black one and i like it because it has the robo penguin on the shoulders. If this one had the robo penguin on the shoulders instead of the GARBAGE Skating penguin logo id probably buy it. The only reason it doesn’t get a 0/10 is because im a penguins fan. If i wasn’t a pens fan it would get a 0

I know this is old news, but as a Pens fan, we always wanted the PITTSBURGH jersey to come back. My fav jersey in the 90s…. and I even understand them not having the robo penguin. But i was baffled by the decision to have the logo without the triangle. This would have been 10/10 if they just had that primary logo instead of the third jersey logo. Same for the black Alternate.
