   I don't understand bringing back Carcone. We now have 24 players on 23-man roster. So at least one player will have to go and maybe as many as two (if Simashev makes the team, which he will) or even three (if But makes the team).

   Leafs don't have cap space for Kadri as the 5th line center behind Matthews, Tavares, Roy, Laughton, Kampf and will be 35 in October.

   Kadri definitely wouldnt block a trade back to the Leafs, he loved being a Leaf, his problem was he loved it too much and he acted on emotions at times which honestly I never minded. Also, everyone who wanted him gone in the Leafs org, is now gone themselves so there shouldnt be any bad blood left over by Kadri. Lets also not forget that the guy who signed Kadri to CGY is now GM of the Leafs… CGY has to show they are willing to trade with Tree though as they clearly havent before.

    I like Kadri but he takes such stupid penalties….He wouldn't be my first choice for this reason alone. I'd rather have him than Newhook as 2nd center however and I am still not sold on Dach.

    Pat verbeek is the worst gm in the nhl . He ruins his top draft picks and makes off the board picks and acquires bad contracts rather than paying his own players and blocking his young guys. If I was a young player I would not want to be drafted by the ducks
