He wont come to Boston… taxachusetts.
Maybe one year with the baby Marner will push him over the edge
6x $14M maybe? New CBA means he isn't signing an 8-yr deal even if Vegas trades him to Boston before July 1. And I'm sure he's going to have every family member, friend, and neighbor in his ear about it. I would love to see him in black and gold.
Laughing so hard right now!
Eichel is already in talks to resign in vegas. We will be lucky if kempe or connor are available
yea great plan Bs. LV can blow it up anytime
As a 58 year old Bruins fan, who has seen the Bruins acquire almost every local player, play for the Bruins except Tony Amonte, Jeremy Roenick, and Keith Tkachuk. The ones who did sucked. Steve Leach , Bobby Carpenter, and Shawn McEacher.
Does anyone .remember
Steve Heinze
Ted Donato
Clark Donatelli
Jeff Lazaro
John Carter
Bob Sweeney
Andy Brickley
Kevin Stevens
The fact that Don Sweeny always goes after every local player in the league is why he should be fired. Everyone else goes for the best player available, he has to go for the locals. This isn't the 50s or 70s when the Montreal Canadiens built dynasties by having every French name (except Ken Dryden, who was drafted by the Bruins). They weren't acquired because they were local. They were acquired because they were the best available players.
July fools?
don't you think he's gonna sign with vegas, come on
Reports say Eichel grew up a Habs fan
Nope , it’ll never happen . We need a lot more than Jack .
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THEY DO SIGN HIM… BOSTON WILL BE TERRIBLE THIS YEAR AGAIN AND WILL HAVE PLENTY OF CAP ROOM
BENNETT WAS CERTAINLY RETURNING TO FLORIDA
I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT THE NHL HAS A TAX ISSUE
THE LAST 6 TEAMS REPRESENTING THE EASTERN CONFERENCE ARE TEAMS FROM FLORIDA
THEY HAVE AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE IN WHICH THEY CAN HAVE PLAYERS SIGN UNDER MARKET VALUE
SIGNING GREAT PLAYERS FOR UNDER MARKET VALUE ALLOWS U TO SIGN DEPTH PLAYERS ( RODRIGUES, LUNDELL ETC..) THEIR 3RD LINE IS MOST TEAMS 2ND LINE
IT IS UNFAIR. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED
EICHEL COULD 100 PERCENT SIGN WITH BOSTON
HAVING EICHEL, PASTA, BOTH LINDHOLMS, HAGENS, GEEKIE, SWAYMAN, MCAVOY… IF ALL PLAYS UP TO POTETIAL WITH A FEW PLAYERS EXCEEDING EXPECTATION.. IT COULD WORK
I’d take Taige Thompson from Buffalo. Second line center.
Dude, as a loooong time Bruins fan saying Be Realistic, look what happened to this year's free agent crop! Almost all the Big name guys got re-signed to home team and a few were dealt for scraps and then some decent middling players were left and got scooped ! Then alot table scraps were left, so if the Bruins want some quality guys they will over pay and most aren't going to be available! So a new strategy is needed to get them , like trade some value to these teams and get their rights and then sign them.😅
