They didn’t miss out on him, he didn’t live up to expectations. He had a chance to light it up and failed. He seemed like a good kid but didn’t have the chops to be an NHL’er. It’s a shame, I was excited when he was drafted.
Did we ever know, the famous woman reaction to the KK draft, what player she wanted MTL to draft? Zadina, Tkachuk or Hughes? Or anyone else.
Just asking in case it was Zadina, because that would not have been good either for MTL. 😂 In any case, I think the world needed that reaction, so drafting Zadina would have robbed us of that epic moment
Man shinkaruk is a name i havent heard in awhile thought he was gonna be a decent forward for van 😅 man was i wrong 😂
At times, it honestly felt like Ken Holland was trying to sabotage the team
yzerman ruined his development 😭
There are too many teams who have a bunch of incompetents as General Managers & coaches.
When you put a high-performance tool in the hands of a incompetent contractor he will usually damage the tool because he refused to read and understand the instructions on how to use the tool for what. Sometimes if you use the tool for the wrong purpose for the wrong job, you wreck the tool forever. That contractor simply throws away the tool he wrecked and continues on his merry way wrecking more tools in the future.
This is what happens in the NHL. A good example is the coach & general manager they had in Montreal in 2020-21 named Dom Ducharme Marc Bergeron.
Under Ducharme, Cole Caufield looked terrible, like he lost his scoring touch, but that all changed immediately under MsL.
Ducharme didn't have the skill to coach a pee wee team & his GM thought that hiring a coach with a losing record that started a mutiny among the players to have him fired was a good idea to sign him up for several more seasons.
Well, we all know how that turned out with both of them being fired but walking away with truck loads of money.
Ken Holland is the greatest GM of all time.
He wasnt mismanaged at all. He came in the NHL with over confidence, and in his last few years, had zero confidence. His final year, i was surprised the rinks kept his shots inside. He had all the skills, but once his confidence was gone, he was done. It reminded me of Tarasenko last year.
Zadina can’t process the game at NHL speed. He was always a second late to the loose puck. A second late on the back check. A second late to make a pass. A second late to the rebound. A second late to shoot which is why he either missed the net by 4 feet or hit the goalie in the chest. That’s why he lit up the Q but was a bust in the NHL.
Bro started reading comments and decided to make a real video
Just another terrible kenny holland draft pick
Lego why….. why ya gotta open deep scars again. The pain! The paiiiiiiiiiin!
