Not sure why Gaby would come to a non playoff team. Brock Bessar is out there and the rumour is reunion with JT Miller. But again , why would anyone come to clusterfuck like the Rangers?

I'm OK with Gavrikov at 7-7.5 million, but I hate those 7 year terms. I'd rather get him on a 5 year term if possible. Those Pionk & Skjei deals are an absolute joke! My dream scenario is sign Gavrikov & trade K'iller for Byram. That will give Rangers an excellent defense. Vaak & Robertson will be 6/7 & Soucy will be traded for a 5/6th just to offload him.

A 7 for 7 deal for Gavrikov will age like a bag of milk. He's not the right guy, he's the right now guy. Most people never even heard of him, yet all of this sudden, he's the missing piece we've been looking for, for ages. Won't end well.
