I definitely don't see Parsinnen as the third line center. I'm betting Mika plays center this year not wing. Since it is a transition year, it would be best to get as many young players into the lineup as possible. Perreault is either going to play in the top six or he's AHL bound. Othmann will be this years break out player & we may just see him again with Trochek & Panarin since that line had really good numbers. Parsinnen & Brodzinski will be spares, unless they get traded.
Seems that 4th line is solid, proven effective last season. Don't mess with it.
Would rather see Cuylle on the 1st line rather than Laffy – if not traded, put Laffy on the 3d and let him earn his way back.
Instead of rushing young guys up, might be better to give them Hartford time, with a few games in a row on one of the 3d line spots.
Wow..I really want to be positive but I'm failing. In that bottom pot, We've got a bunch of guys who have never played a full year except for Sam who played hard but you can easily see limits in his game. But the rest are so ify.
I seriously doubt Gabe makes this team. I hope he can take Alexis job tho within a year so we can burn that contract huh. Uuhh.💸 Overall, and it's funny to say but we may have a better shot at rebuilding the d core with youngsters now. Then next year and a couple of guys hit the market perhaps we can get in on skill and leadership and round out the top six. By then we will see what the bottom really looks like. Because if we land a top center, Vincent will surely play third line by then. This year, I see it as a merry go round depending on Injuries, lack of scoring and suspensions 😊🏒
Gabe Perreault should start the season in Hartford, on the 1st Line with Othmann ( and whoever else).
Perreault needs more time to build up his core strength and acclimate to the Pro Game.
Berard, Laba, Sykora and Roobroeck should be slotted and placed on 2nd or 1st lines. Depending on how ya' want to construct the lines.
Chmelar, Brisson and McConnell-Barker slotted on the 3rd Line.
Nathan Aspinall ( who I would like to see get time on all 4 lines) and everyone else ( in Hartford) should be start out by being slotted into the 4th line.
Give our Rangers draft picks the leg up on getting the most ice time and playing in all situations, in Hartford.
Laba and Roobroeck may become the big surprises of this upcoming season and the season afterwards.
