Pierre McGuire ruined hockey broadcasts with his verbal diarrhea style of announcing. Now, every colour commentator assumes he has to talk incessantly while the puck is in play. He made hockey unwatchable, so why would I care what he thinks?
Marner, Kampf, Holmberg out, Roy, Maccello, Cowan in . Are we really any worse off? I wouldn't bet on it, come playoff time, and especially with at least one more quality forward coming in the mix. A forward that will be a sure upgrade on any combination of Robertson, Reaves or Jarnkrok.

When Marner started with this Leafs, his shot couldn't break a pane of glass, but it got much better over the years, Can any explain why Rielly hasn't been able to develop a slapshot in all this time, especially since he's been such a key part of the powerplay all these years. Imagine if he actually had a bullet from the point, how much that would change the Leafs powerplay situation?
