I sure wish they'd unloaded Soucy and kept Jones.
Those lines are OK, but Othmann always seems to get lost in the mix. As I said before, Why Drury signed Raddysh is a mystery to me, since all 3 rookies have a higher upside than him. Soucy on the 2nd D pair is ridiculous! Watched some Scott Morrow AHL play & an interview. Scored two hat tricks in the AHL last year, both finished with empty net goals. Did see him knock a couple guys down at the blueline, one with a nice hip check that caused Aku Raty to fight him. He landed the first punch then took Raty to the ice. He stated that his NHL stint opened his eyes to what he has to improve on to be a regular. If he can make the team it frees up Schneider to be with Borgen. I'd play both Vaak & Robertson ahead of Soucy. Giving him a 3.5 million contract was insanity & GM incompetence.
His skating is not NHL level! Looks like we'll have guys sitting out again & no doubt complaining about lack of ice time.
I’m excited for this season, Sullivan will figure it out as long as Durey stays out of the way.
The one thing about any top line , if it's Laf or Mika or Gretzy , the moment one of them doesn't throw the body in the corner JT is going to go apeshit and start getting on players. That's not something the Rangers have proven they cope with and then they shrink right under. 🥀
You guys quit crying about Zac Jones.. He was a wimp and Smurf defensemen don't win Championships period !!
Don't see Laffy on the first line after the dreadful (non)effort last year. His refusal to check cost us games, announcers called him out for that as often as they did the departed K Miller.
I'd rather see Panarin – JT Miller – Cuylle.
