   As a fan of the team; I'm eagerly waiting for how the Panthers trade to get under the salary cap. Rodrigues and Boqvist could get a respectable amount of assets in return.

    Zegras is a small, self centered, injury prone, underperforming player. Most overrated player in the NHL.

    You make no sense. yes, the Isles made great moves for the future, but they made great moves for the upcoming season as well. Darche never said that this is a rebuild. If pager was traded as well as Lee & maybe the last player left on the best 4th. line in hockey, then it would be a rebuild. their great #1 pick, should not be in the NHL this season, but he will. that is not a tank.

    As a Carolina Hurricanes fan, I.think they did really well in the draft and free agency. But I think they could make another trade or two to get over Florida in the playoffs.

    Idk if the islanders are going to be as bad as you think. Isles projected lineup:

    Drouin-Horvat-Holmstrom
    Lee-Barzal-Shabanov
    Tsyplakov/Duclair-Ritchie-Palmieri
    Duke/Tsyp-Pageau-Heineman
    (Engvall, Cizikas, Maclean, gatcomb as extras)

    Romanov-DeAngelo
    Pelech-pulock
    Pick 2 out of Schaefer Mayfield Boqvist and Isaiah George

    Sorokin
    Varly
    Rittich

    The defense is horrible I can’t defend that but this is by far the most talented offensive lineup the isles have dressed in the 21st century. They’re probably going to be a team that scores 3.3-3.4GF/G and give up 3.5-3.6 GA/G. I’d bet we finish between 24th-18th overall next year. Sorokin does have the talent to change that though. If he has a season with a .912+ sv% I think the isles would be a threat to steal a playoff spot.

    Gavrikov overrated, very bad played in postseason
    Dadonov was bad in playoffs too

    Minnesota incomplete feeling sure, but there was no 1 to go get without over paying. Tarasenko is low risk. Rossi has lost his contract negotiations, he will either sign a cheap bridge or wont play. Clearly no 1 wants rossi. Lack kuster off season but that happens now that teams have money to keep players

    I disagree that the islanders are trying to be bad. Even last year they weren’t the worst team, they just gad a bad offense with barzal injured and Nelson traded

    Sometimes the best move is the one you don’t make and I’m honestly glad my Chicago Blackhawks didn’t really do much, its time to play the young players and let them grow!
