Besides McDavid & Eichel Panarin better than all these guys, and he is the Only player I’ve ever seen since Gaborik & Jagr to have huge seasons in New York since coming here.
No extension right now, lets see how its plays out until trade deadline. Watch the FA class see who is available. We need to get younger.
You also cannot ignore the fact that Panarin disappear every year in the playoffs . AGetting paid 11.6mil AAV should be a leader , a difference player and clutch in high stress situations. If the rangers have aspirations of success in Playoffs , guys like Mika and Breadman are unreliable ! If the player development at Hartford is bottom tier wouldn't that responsibility ultimately fall on Chris Drury , not the Coaches . Knoblacfh was Coach of Hartford and turned out pretty good in Edmonton. I agree play the Youth ! Breadman has not learned How to adapt His game to tighter checking of Stanley Cup Playoffs !
