I have to agree with you. I am really excited about Parekh and I believe he is going to be a star. I really like the Reschny pick. If he was two inches taller and 15 to 20 pounds heavier I think he would have gone top ten in the draft
Potter was actually ranked 2 spots higher than Reschney in Central Scouting's final rankings. So that is something to look at too.
I wouldn't mind extending a camp invite to undrafted, late bloomer Teydon Trembecky who played with Reschney. They were a dynamic duo for sure.

Excited to see what Parehk can bring on the back end and really looking forward to seeing Reschney centering a top line in the future. If he is compared to Seth Jarvis we should have a good one. Maybe a younger Huberdeau

Every team says the same things about the guys they drafted.
I think after a year or two, Parekh should be weighing about 200-210 and he will be more physical and stronger. That, combined with his obvious offensive capabilities, will make him one of the top D men in the league. Looking forward to seeing him help the Flames win games.
Let build a real team in the future Conroy, Kadri, Coleman, Huberdeau or even Weegar if you can get the like of Cowan Robertson and some other prospects also some 1st and 2nd round picks let do it and get another good couple drafts then let’s do because you’ll get far in the playoff with these guys anyway and they will worthless in couple years
I like what I hear about Parekh too. As a player he will be great, but the Flames are an another discussion.
parekh has super star written all over him. I hope to see alot of him in calgary next season. I was kind of surprised Mat gridin wasn't listed. I think hes got some serious skills
