They have a really good player resigned. Saying a guy in the first part of his career can't hold his own aside from with Dahlin is absurd.
Byram and Krebs for W. Foegele .. LA Kings. 2 years left on a 3.5 AAV contract. Good 2 way top 6 forward. Played 82 Games, 24 Goals, 22 Assists, 46 Points.
why must all Buffalo media ignite negativity?? what does it accomplish? we have a season coming up where they could be much better than last year just cause they are all a year older, stronger and wiser..the most concerning thing for me is goaltending and of course getting that top 6 forward..I am hopeful Lyon really works out and time to use some of our big assets in Rochester and a roster player to get that missing forward we need
Negativity is all with have after 14 years of failure and an owner that thinks he knows better than actual hockey people. There is no reason to be hopeful with the Buffalo Sabres.
The flaw in Chad’s logic is obvious. He’s talking about breaking up Dahlin-Byram if other pairs don’t work, but the reason you don’t do that is because other Byram pairs don’t work…see the flawed premise?
Additionally, we don’t know what Byram-Kesselring would do
Give me a break. You dont just trade a player to trade a guy. The trade has to make sense and improve the team
Bunch of idiots in the comments. How do you people still have positivity around this team with this lackluster offseason. Assuming they don’t do anything else they still have $6M in cap space going into the year and they lost a young 20+ goal scorer and replaced him with a bottom 6 forward. Yes their d-core is solid but does anyone really think they made moves that will get them the additional 12 points they need to make the playoffs? No shot.
I really like that bills hat.
You guys are blind to the obvious. Adams never said he wanted to trade him and Byram never said he didn’t want to to be a Sabre.
Skilled offensive defenseman wanting to play 1st pairing & power play but Dahlin & Power ahead of him.
Die hard Avs fan. But was born in Buffalo so I still keep tabs on the Sabres from afar. This guy Chad is spewing nonsense.
The Avs didn't have an issue finding him a D partner. The issue was he had 2 left shot defenseman above him on the depth chart he wasn't going to supplant in Toews & Girard. He was stuck on the bottom pair. Also he couldn't stay in the lineup & had concussion issues. Had he not they may have kept him & dealt Girard (wish they had).
They desperately needed help down the middle & thought Mittelstadt was their 2C solution. He was not lol. Bo has a ton of potential. He's still only 24. To talk as if he's 30 & a finished product is dumb.
"Hope that Quinn bounces back"? He had a career year last year. The hope is that he continues to improve. He's still only 23.
