What are they talking about?! That was awful! There were 6 of them skating for good couple seconds. Avs were leading the game?! You know what, it means a zip. They managed to score no clear goals during the regular time, none! Both were ricochets! Tampa had more shots on the goal. Refs let go of a bad offense on Hedman, a clear penalty, just about 6 minutes before the end. So, you know, after the ugly 5 on 3 in the game 1, please, be a man, admit that referees screwed the whole series!!!
If Kadri waits for McKinnon to be within 5 feet of bench before entering then he is nowhere near the position where he receives the pass…Kadri bought the extra time that freed him up to be open by leaving early. Avs caught a huge break by Kadri knowing the refs had put their whistles away. Smart play but very blatant and therefore should've been called because it decided the game and IMO ultimately the Series as well.
Absolutely legal goal. Line changes are like that every game in every league.

Doesn't matter, can't be reviewed/reversed. Tampa had the same play last year in the playoffs against the Bruins it wasn't a controversy then.

Gets overlooked that kadri who just came back from hand surgery absolutely blew the roof of two defensemen… probably good that mackinnon went for the change here it may have looked even more embarassing if they tried to stop 29 with that effort

I think the only real reasonable complaint was it was Nate going off for the change and Nate draws bodies wherever he goes. Maybe allowed lanes to open up for Kadri. That being said as an Avs fan alls that matters to me was getting that W. Time to wrap up this Marvelous season with the Cup at home, Go Avs Go

Exactly what PK subon says, the player standing by the boards had nothing to do with the play. Yes the refs missed it, but Tampa lost. It is what it is move on

To everybody saying that the 6th man was changing off the ice, PAY AYTENTION TO THE PLAY. The player next to the bench is Kadri, who scores the goal. He's coming onto the ice, not off. Nobody is near the bench to change off when he comes on
Glad the Aves won but the officials were terrible against Tampa. Officials didn’t see anything all night let alone to many men on ice call. Very poor

The Avs player was clearly getting himself off the ice, NOT a factor in the least in the amazing goal that was scored, NEXT!
I called it even, last year Tampa Bay scores against NY Islanders while they had 7 players on ice .

Should be reviewable and overturned. Goal shouldn’t have stood especially in overtime on a HUGE game 4 deciding play.

The game was fine, then Cooper came out and gaslit everyone, then the refs called the game in Tampas favor in game 5. Easy as that.
