Jakob Chychrun Deserves at least an honorable mention… the mutual excitement between him and the fans coming to Ottawa, his grandpa with the tim horton cup celebrating his goal… too bad it didn’t work for him being here longer!

As someone who went to Western Michigan I would have easily have voted for whatever team took Joe Corvo 🤣🤣. Speaking of that. The Only other player I think should have got a mention was Matt Carkner for his 3OT goal against Pittsburgh. I know I’m biased and they didn’t do much after that but I was watching that game on a random weeknight with my college roommates at Western Michigan who knew I loved the Sens and when he scored at around 1am we went nuts and got a Noise complaint the next day 🤣. Lived in Michigan my whole life but loved the Sens and been watching since I can remember since we got CBC hockey night in Canada with how close we lived to Windsor. And since I was a kid and saw they had a captain that was number 19 (Yashin and yes I still have a poster of him in my basement 😂) just like my favorite player (Yzerman) and a rookie of the year in Alfredsson. I was absolutely hooked! And Since Yzerman retired in 06 I’ve been just about all in on the Sens and my wife can attest that it’s been through the highs and the lowest of lows but she was amazing enough to take me to Ottawa on our Honeymoon in 2014 when we saw Chicago vs Ottawa and Hossa get his 1000th point. Such a fun game to be at and I hope to get back sooner rather than later. love everything you guys do and Go Sens Go!
