I don’t think so. I have them as a dark horse for the division. I’m a flames fan I think it’s clearly us. We’re going to trade andersson, we don’t have a backup goalie, our top players are still 30+ we’re about to fall off a cliff. I hope so anyway I want McKenna.
On paper we are not that bad. I think all goes well we should make it in. We had one of the worst defenses in the league for a while and don't see that happening again. We should have one of the better defenses this coming season. I don't have a crystal ball but we are the most fragile team. We can make it or get beat up. But those early games with Forbert and DesJarnais won't happen and could be enough to get us in. Things go bad for this team I can see us sinking pretty bad.

Their only option is to trade for a bonafide 2C and hope the majority of the team rebounds and stays healthy.
