We should consider firing adams

The Byram offer sheet will be same as Utah threatened before trade. It'll be 5yr so its not 2 1st rd picks. Comp is only done on 5yr.
Adams should have been fired after not trading Peterka for Kyrou extending Byram. End of story. Team could have waited for Mrtka

Why don't we Just Relax? Its July 3rd. Long time till start of training camp or the start of the season. Also…why not resign Byram? He and Dahlin are pretty good together AND if I hear how Anybody would be good with Dahlin then we would have kept JBD… As far as futures I'm fine with that as long as the money and term are ridiculous due to an offersheet.

Adams always waits till a players value is at its absolute lowest and then tries to make a trade
What’s frustrating is they trade JJ when they already needed another top 6 player. At least in some fans eyes. I think they need 2 now. Some disagree but we cannot go into the year without legit top 6 player who can help with 20-25 goals at least. You have to trade away byram to do it. Unless they go all in on d this year and play shut down style. Need the right tender to play that way though.
I guess best case scenario the team starts off strong, byram plays really well and either re-signs or he can be a deadline trade when his value is even higher…
But I'm not holding my breath for any of that

Byram is a good player +11 38 pts 82 games played.Even Paul Hamilton said he would take him over Powers. "We need players not picks" I remember hearing recently. Look at our 1st rounder…see him in 2-4 years, too long.

We should not accept futures for Byram at any cost . We don’t need more prospects . Our defense as it stands right now is solid ! Way better than last year . Teams like Carolina , the predators , have had good seasons because of solid defensive play . Defense creates offense
Can’t you trade the future picks you get from the offer sheet to get something similar you were hoping to get in a Bryam trade?
