Goalies are harder to come by and we happen to have two of the best prospects I say we can get the same value for him as for what bruins got for ulmark and Oilers cant offer much value

Unless they think postava is the guy and Augustine is next, they will not trade Cossa. There’s just no reason to and the return for unproven goalie prospects is low, just look at silovs
Cossa’s ceiling is definitely the highest of any Wings goalie prospect. If you want to say Augustine has a higher floor that’s fine. Cossa was an AHL all star last season, the take he’s mid is ridiculous. Division 1 NCAA is no where near the level of AHL. I’m excited for both prospects, Augustine and Cossa .
Better question is what goalie isn't Edmonton linked to? Edmonton would have to give up quality players for either

Edmonton receives Sebastian Cossa
Anaheim receives Savoie, Edmontons 2026 First, and Detroits 2026 second
Detroit receives Mason Mctavish
Scott Wheeler recently ranked Cossa as the #5 goaltending prospect in the NHL, ahead of Augustine. Absolutely baseless article.
He’s only 22 and just needs another year in GR to continue to improve his consistency before being a full-time NHLer with Gibson next year. Even Askarov, who is the top ranked goalie prospect wasn’t in the NHL full time last year and was drafted a year ahead of Cossa.
Maybe Hyman or RNH would be a suitable asking price but definitely not Janmark and a bag of pucks. Absolutely ridiculous writing!
D1 isn't ahl level yet nil money is probably changing that but I'd still like to see trey play "pro" hockey before I put him above cosa
I'd rather roll the dice on 6'6 Cossa than trade him for Janmark or Oilers picks and prospects. They don't exactly have a great prospect pool.
Cossa for Isaac Howard? Both high draft selections that has yet to test NHL.
