There should be 6 forward spots , at least 2 defensive spots. I doubt Sully will go with the prospects for more than two weeks. I love when they go: OH HE'S GREAT WiTH THE KIDS!! Two weeks later, they are benched and sent down. That's when they probs start. 🏒
Robertson is far more likely to make the team than Mackey. None of those dark horses will make the team, but the most likely is Noah Laba whom I really like. Just a solid all around player who can skate & thinks the game well. Roobroeck needs another year & so does Garand. Sykora needs to play much better than he did last year, where I'd say he kind of underperforned. The Pack had a dreadful PK last year & Sykora was out there a lot on the PK.
There won't be any surprises for opening night unless the injury bug hits hard. 25-40 games down the line, possible … but it would be bad asset management to push out anybody that could be picked up on waivers. No reason to rush any of these guys although I would have liked to see Garand get a legitimate shot, but that won't happen with Quick there.
