I love that Rice is always smiling. Having fun.
At the beginning of last year (maybe I'm making it up) but it appeared to me that Volpe was bunting to get on base. This made his hard hit groundballs down the third base line almost impossible to reach. I can't remember the last time that I say him bunting for a hit.
Gil was great efficient and economical in his outing and the offense picked up when Bednar walked in the tying run. Grish has been outstanding all season i hope he gets an extension.
